I’ve been enjoying this little gem of an app for about a week now. I’m fairly casual in my take on jigsaw puzzles and this one hits a nice stride for me. If you are considering Pieces, read through the detailed description…..it delivers flawlessly. I’m finding that part of the fun is being able to download my own images for puzzles that appeal to me. There is no fiddling required, just sync through iTunes. I appreciate the designer’s clean interface….no annoying ‘cartoony flavor to the concise instructions, etc. Manipulating pieces within the limits of my iPad Mini screen works fine, no worries. I looked at a few of the other jigsaw puzzle apps here…some do ratchet up the complexity of play, and some of the established apps have hundreds of mostly positive reviews. But, Pieces won out for me, and I’m quite satisfied. Plus, I’ll go with an independent developer sporting the name of John Moose. Bully!
